Bruised cheek after root canal

Tuesday awoke with some discomfort but noticed my cheek had swollen and was bruised , it is now Thursday and neither the swelling or bruise hs gone. How can I tell if my cheek is swollen after root canal ? How long does a swollen cheek go down after a root canal ? Specialty would I be best seeing? I had a small twitch on my cheek.
