All teeth removed and dentures

Dentures do last for a 5-years so they have a pretty good shelf life. The biggest downside to missing all your teeth is that your jawbone begins to slowly erode over time when it doesn’t have teeth engaging it and keeping it strong. How long after does it take before semi normal eating and semi normal talking?

Since remaining teeth were in place at the time of impressions and construction of the denture, we take our best judgment as to where proper healing will occur. I am and had all my upper teeth pulled and immediate denture about weeks ago.

And it does get better.
