Post and core after root canal

While a dental core can be created for any tooth, a post and core can only be placed for a tooth that has already had root canal treatment.

The first stages are common for both prefabricated and cast post and cores. The dental examination will focus on the tooth (or teeth) that need the post and core reconstruction.
