Osstell smartpeg

The SmartPegs are single use items. To avoid damage to the implant, the SmartPeg material is quite soft, which limits the lifetime of the threads. So the SmartPeg cannot be reused for two reasons: First, the magnet cannot stand the heat of an autoclave, it will be affected and discolored. Both instruments measure the resonance frequency of a SmartPeg , when it is attached to an implant.

It is easy to mount and requires minimal space thanks to its small size. Osstell is an essential part of my implant practice. As a surgical prosthodontist I use it on every implant case to determine and document implant stability. ISQ values provide the confidence (based on science) to know when each implant is ready to loa whether for immediate or delayed restoration, helping to achieve a successful restorative. A probe, which can be sterilized or covered with a sleeve, attaches to the instrument via a cable.

The ISQ value is displayed on a screen within seconds of proximity to the SmartPeg. It provides the accurate, consistent and objective information needed to make well-founded decisions. It is a fast and non-invasive system that will provide the accurate and objective information needed to proceed with confidence. Henry Schein will not be invoicing you for them. A BioHorizons rep will contact you upon receiving first order to verify payment information.

The stability is measured using a SmartPeg that is attached to the implant. It shows the value of ISQ efficiently and reliably. Almond Dental uses a separate SmartPeg for each patient as the SmartPegs are single patient use item. The measured Implant Stability Quotient is confirmed by numerous clinical trials.

SmartPeg Advantages: Backed by more than 9scientific studies, our method is based on RFA to determine whether or not an implant is stable enough. What makes them so smart? in this infographics! JavaScript seems to be disabled in your browser. The instrument measures lateral stability and micro-mobility using a SmartPeg that attaches to the implant and a probe that measures the ISQ value.

The technique is very fast, easy and reliable. A small aluminum ro called a SmartPeg, is placed in the implant. The RFA device prompts vibration in the rod by initiating magnetic pulses of varying frequencies.

El cociente de estabilidad del implante (ISQ, Implant Stability Quotient) ha sido probado en numerosos estudios clínicos. Warning: Last items in stock! NEW EXCELLENT CONDITION ! The probe is attached to the instrument via a cable and measurements are displayed on the back-lit display. It is for a single-use and delivered in sterile boxes of five units. In all cases the probe was oriented vestibular.

Statistical analysis: data were statistically explored and debugged by means of numeric and graphic methods. Measured data will be shown in the upper display combined with a colored light indication below the tip. The result is presented as an ISQ (Implant Stability Quotient) value of 1-100.
