What kind of anesthesia is used for a root canal? Can the dentist put you to sleep during a root canal? Is there an alternative to root canal procedure?


How do you know if you need root canal treatment? The sedation method for an individual is determined on the patient’s medical history and current physical and mental health.

Types of Sedation Available. Minimal sedation is the lightest level of sedation. It does make you less aware of what is going on around you during your procedure or treatment.
