I had a root canal done and it still hurts

Could it just still be sore from the trauma done to it? My permanent crown was put back on with temp. Ultimately, the tooth was removed and he now has an implant. Those are har if not impossible, to fix. Its not the shooting pain that would imply theres a major problem, but theres certainly something not right with it.


I thought the whole point of a root canal is to remove all nerves, and that therefore it would never be capable of hurting again. Hello I had a root canal months ago. A week after the procedure I was still having tooth pain. Canal was done due to sensitivity, I had no infection. At any rate tooth is still sensitive to hot and cold.


I went in to the endo who did the procedure and he touchd the tooth with cold and at the time.
