Is a root canal done in one visit

Doing a root canal and a crown on the same tooth in the same visit may seem mystical and magical, but, in reality, it just makes sense. In the past, dentists were taught to do the root canal , place a temporary and send the patient away. Both visits are usually spaced out by one week of each other.

Neither is better than the other — again, there are differing opinions on this. Some dentists wait and let the tooth dry and empty for a little bit and disinfect a second time then fill it. Complicated cases, such as, curved roots, big infection and obliterated canals prolong the treatment. A crown on a front tooth depends on the cause of the need of the root canal therapy.


Root Canal Done in One Day. There could be some other stuff going on such as peridontal disease, but they should tell you about that. An a temporary should not cause problems if done correctly.
