Root canal ear ache

What is the recovery time after a root canal? Is it common to experience ringing in the ears after a root…? Which is home treatments help with ear pain? Why do I still have pain weeks after my root canal?


There’s a strong correlation between ear pain and the need for a root canal because our ears and mouth are so closely connected. There is a good chance that the source of the earache you’re experiencing is actually a toothache.

I had a root canal , and then a filling placed in the crown. It only hurt when I bit down. The endo said it could be inside the tooth, but with pain only happening when I bit down, it could be a crack in the root of the tooth (which means, taking the tooth out to get rid of the pain).
