Pediatric partial denture

What to expect when getting a partial denture? What is the difference between a partial and full denture? How do you care for a partial denture?


Can additional teeth be added to a valplast partial denture? Being a temporary denture , they have simpler designs. They are usually made of pink acrylic to allow for easy adjustment and replacement, instead of metal (chrome cobalt) as in adult dentures.

A full denture means that we will take out all remaining teeth on that jaw. For an implant assisted partial denture we will add 1-dental implants, but usually just 1-2. The partial denture will then snap onto the dental implant(s) that we place.
